Grant to help fund transport [ITNSarasota]

ITNSarasota recently received a $50,000 organizational grant from the Community Foundation of Sarasota County so it can continue to provide transportation for seniors and adults with visual impairment.

“Since our launch in 2008, the Community Foundation has supported and encouraged the mission of ITNSarasota, and we are grateful for their continued support,” Chris Pinckney ITNSarasota board chairman, said in a prepared statement.

Cattaraugus County seeking survey participation for ITNEverywhere survey

Cattaraugus County and local transportation providers are working on a new transportation solution called ITNEverywhere. All interested residents, 18 years and older are invited to take a survey about personal transportation choices. The survey will be open throughout June.

ITNEverywhere is a transportation service for rural and small communities. It builds on the success of the Independent Transportation Network (ITN). ITN is a nationally recognized senior transportation service that has operated in greater Portland, Maine, for 15 years. Communities in Florida and Maine are also working on ITNEverywhere.
