Program Helps Find A Ride For Senior Citizens

As baby boomers age, more of them will keep driving longer than their parents and fatal accidents rise dramatically as people get older. Giving up the car keys can be a difficult decisions…..and a local program could be the perfect solution. It offers a ride in a private car.

ITNGreaterCincinnati is available inside the I-275 loop to seniors and those who are visually impaired. You pay a $75 a year fee to sign up – then, there’s a fee for a card that offers credits, which are used for miles of transportation.

A family member can volunteer driving hours to others who need the service. Those hours can then be used as credits for their own loved ones.
